(as he would remember the other powers). I'm just saying that I can sort of see why Sylar has more powers (he is le villain), but there seems to be no limit. He has killed a ~dozen people, so he has a ~dozen powers. Anyway, I'm just a bit scared it will become like Superman. Ie Superman Returns - he will able to lift the entire continent, even though it was made of kryptonite. He is a useless superhero - just cannot be defeated. Well wouldn’t Peter be more powerful? (as he would remember the other powers).

For example, if he's not around Claire for a while, he loses his ability to heal. Once he meets up with her again, he gets that ability. But once Sylar eats their brains, or whatever he does, he has that power for good. What makes for a great showdown between them, though, would be that Peter could absorb every power that Sylar has, thus making them both equally powerful. Sylar has to eat their brain / whatever, but he can gain anyone's power. Peter just absorbs powers randomly. At the rate they are going, by the end of season 2, they will be both like Superman (who really has no villain who can defeat him), and the rest will look like puppets. Peter can already fly, become invisible, regenerate, and telekinesis. As he meets up with the others - how can you stop him?
