One of the things about working from home, is that you end up watching television while you work…and sometimes that television is Soap Operas….and sometimes those Soap Operas are awesome…anyway, bottom line is, I watch All My Children, and I’m very disappointed by the news I am about to report.

The character of Babe, currently played by Alexa Havins, is one of my favorite characters on the show, primarily because Havins is smoking hot. Turns out, she’s heading for the greener pastures of L.A, and the character of Babe is being recast immediately.

The plan is for Alexa to hug her mother, and when the camera pulls out at the end of the hug, the new actress, Amanda Baker, will be playing the role. Amanda Baker has some big shoes to fill on the show. Not only is Alexa a decent actress, she is – again – smoking hot. Alexa leaves the show on October 10th.
