The CBS sitcoms return tonight. The line up includes 3 mainstays and one new addition. First up at 8:00pm (EST) is “The Big Bang Theory” followed by “How I Met Your Mother”. The 9:00pm (EST) hour starts with long running hit “Two and a Half Men” which is followed by the new series “Worst Week”.

Over on NBC it’s all about “Heroes” tonight. At 8:00pm (EST) things kick off with a recap show to keep viewers up to date on major plot points from the show. At 9:00 (EST) the third season officially kicks off in an episode entitled “The Second Coming: The Butterfly Effect”.

Fox has new episodes of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and “Prison Break”. “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” will also be new on The CW.
