MyNetworkTV isn’t letting a pesky thing like a Writer’s Strike stop them from producing some grade “A” quality television – NO SIR – instead they have trucked it up to Canada, hired some non-union writers and hopped on the Flava Flav train for their very first sitcom “Under One Roof”.
The show’s premise is – of course – comedy gold. A former convict moves in with this conservative brother and his brother’s family. Then he starts teaching their young son how to be a “gangsta rapper”.
Yeah, I wish I was making that up. It’s like “Fresh Prince” if Will was in his 40s and reprehensible.
This show should have no trouble finding its way to “worst of” lists come this fall.
