I’m very glad to report that “King of the Hill” has been renewed by Fox for a 13th season. I’ve always been surprised that the show managed to hang on for all these years with the terrible time slots that its had during its run, but finally, Fox has figured out that an entire night of animation is the way to go on Sundays. If they’d had that revelation a few years ago, Futurama would never have been cancelled…nor would Family Guy. Fortunately both of those shows are back from the dead, while “King of the Hill” has managed to struggle along through the rough patches.

Now, however, things are looking good for Hank Hill and family, and I have to say, out of all the animated series that I’ve mentioned…”King of the Hill” is my absolute favorite. I love the Hill family - so much so that I watch repeats on FX daily. I’m excited to see that we’re getting a 13th season, and I’d love to see 13 more.
