If you’ve ever wanted to see a perfect example of just how media news outlets edit their footage to get their point of view across, this is a picture perfect example. The first video below is what aired on CNN…
“I can’t tell you that I haven’t, but you’ll never be able to prove that I have.” That’s what they have John Cena saying in this footage, in response to if he uses steroids.
That’s a pretty damning statement by itself. So damning in fact, that it could seriously hurt John Cena’s career…but it’s not true. When John Cena was asked if he had ever used steroids his answer was much longer, and started with “Absolutely Not.”
Here…let’s what the unedited Interview…
Wow…that’s MUCH different, isn’t it?
Of course it is…and this video proof right here completely invalidates CNN as a news organization and as a company. This is what’s wrong with our media outlets today. They do things like this in unimportant areas like “pro wrestling” (which, in the grand scheme of things is pretty darn unimportant), but they do this kind of stuff about things like War as well. It’s completely unacceptable. The WWE has hinted that their may be a lawsuit as a result of this – and I hope that there is. The “news networks” need to be taken to task for this kind of thing. It’s despicable.

john cena is an idiot…he says he’s never taken roids than says you’ll never know if he’s taken roids. i dont think cnn was trying to smash cena but show that roids is obviously being taken in the wwe

Of course John Cena stated that we’ll never know. He is simply saying that ingorant people will automatically assume that a person of his physique is on “roids”. The level of dedication and hard work is obviously something that most people can’t understand. Of cousre there is steroids in the WWE, there are performance enhancing drugs in sports such as sprinting, biking and even the stand still sport of baseball. But I don’t see anyone pointing the finger at Cal Ripken Jr.

CNN should apologize, but they wont. Apology require them to explain their actions and I dont think it will be easy to get out of this one short of firing people, and I dont think they’d do that either coz from the looks of it things like this would always come from the top.
The way I see this, its just pure arrogance from CNN. I mean, ofcourse they know things like this would never go unnoticed. They know WWE would react, but still they have the audacity to go ahead and do it because they think that they will get away with it. I really hope there’s a lawsuit coz this is just plain wrong.

CNN is so despicable that they should just be thrown in as a tabloid magazine. What they displayed wasn’t even an interview- it was just a cut and paste job. I sincerely hope that the WWE will sue CNN and I will be standing behind them as not only a Cena fan, but a WWE fan 100% because this type of thing really damages repuatations. A lot of kids really look up to John Cena.

CNN is a network that is totally politically biased. I would go as far to say that when CNN takes a side against a cause, they would not recant and tell the truth on any given story, especially if the
story would go against their political steering (from their management).
I see CNN as unsympathetic to many american causes and
drift toward siding against our country and american ideals.
CNN provides ridiculous fodder for those
