In what’s sure to be great news to anyone who enjoys no-think-tv (and I mean that in a GOOD way) NBC has reportedly ordered a full season of the 2008 “Knight Rider” remake.
If you’re a regular here then you know how excited I am about this. I love “Knight Rider”. It’s not a show for critics, and the ratings haven’t been “out of the park”, but the show is doing well in its key demographics, and it’s just plain fun.
I don’t know about you – but I get sick of watching procedural cop shows, and generic (or offensive) sitcoms (”Two and a Half Men” I’m looking at you). “Knight Rider” is like a B-Movie in your home every week. If you love movies that star guys like Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, and the like – then there is a lot to enjoy about “Knight Rider”.
I’m very much looking forward to seeing where they take the show from here.
One Response to: “Knight Rider” gets a full season pick-up!

could not agree more.. i hate to love this show. i grew up on the original, but am now pretty far past watching these types of shows. i caught the first episode on hulu and haven’t looked back. the ony part i disagree with is zoey.. her acting isn’t exactly great, but either is her writing. you’re only as good as your lines. her body is as good as the gym she is obviously spending time in, though
