Something somewhat important here is what Ben says at the end, about finding and killing Penelope. Do you think Widmore will contact Desmond and use him to protect Penny . it would really help if we knew when that flashforward takes places. And what are the nightmares Widmore was talking about , being them the reason he started to have a bottle of scotch by the bed. Also, maybe you've already noticed that Ben can't be killed. Just as Sawyer was finishing his count down someone knocked the door. And also , so far Have u realize that sawyer always wants to kill him but then something stops him from doing it??. bye bye I thought this week’s ep was totally awsome too.

LOST would be much diminished without Ben, who is rapidly becoming the ultimate thinking man's action hero. Every episode reveals a different facet of this terrific character - from his multilingalism to his riding skills, to his wide-ranging literary knowledge. As for his inability to kill Charles Widmore - my theory is that Widmore is Ben's constant, and vice versa, so that any harm to either of them would automatically drive the other insane... I concur.
