TV Guide reports that Angel wannabe Alex O’Loughlin will be staying with CBS despite the cancellation of his cult series “Moonlight”.
He is scheduled to star in a new series that will be developed by Mark Gordon (who’s credits include Grey’s Anatomy, Army Wives and Criminal Minds).
There is no word on exactly what his new role will entail, but it is safe to say that he won’t be playing a vampire. At least, I sincerely hope not.

Michael, two things are clear: 1) You didn’t like the idea of Moonlight to begin with, and 2)You never watched it. Mick St. John and Angel were nothing alike except they were vampires and worked as PIs. Well, Scrubs and ER are both shows about the doctors in an ER. Does that make them similar shows?
