I don’t watch NASCAR.  It’s tough for me to watch a bunch of cars going around in circles for 500 miles, just waiting for one of them to crash.  In fact, I tried playing a demo of the NASCAR game on Xbox 360 just the other day, and within 30 seconds I was going the wrong way on the track, trying to cause as many wrecks as I could.  What fun.

Anywho…the Greesnboro, North Carolina News Record is reporting that the wacky world of NASCAR may be coming to FOX in the future.

Dick Glover, NASCAR vice president of broadcasting and new media, describes the show as featuring “a dysfunctional race team that is endearing, people that you really like but kind of have their quirks about them.”

Glover said a pilot episode could air as early as January.

So…yeah.  Hooray for NASCAR.
