While they didn’t exactly clean up in new programming this season, NBC did see some huge ratings with ‘Heroes’ and some other moderate success with ‘Friday Night Lights’ and ’30 Rock’.  The former is a no-brainer for pickup, and both of the latter have received an official order.

NBC had a pretty substantial offering with returning shows this season, with virtually every veteran either a shoe-in or officially confirmed to return.  The big quesiton marks for the network are ‘Scrubs’ and the original ‘Law & Order’, so that’s what we’ll be watching pretty closely.

Looking ahead to the pickups, NBC has given an official order for:

Chuck - A spy adventure featuring a computer geek doubling as an unlikely hero
Life - In which a formerly wrongly imprisoned cop returns to the force
Journeyman - Tells the story of a man who travels back and forth through time to fix events in others lives, and his own
The Bionic Woman - A remake of the ’70s drama about a woman who is rebuilt after sustaining a life-threatening injury, and takes on the life of a super-agent
