eOnline is reporting that NBC has finally set a plan for the length and amount of ‘Office’ episodes that we will see next season:

Ladies and gentletubers, there is a plan in place for The Office.

At least, that’s what I’m now hearing from inside sources—that NBC reached an agreement late this afternoon with The Office for next season: 24 episodes, including 4 hour-long specials.

This is pretty much exactly what we had this season…at least I don’t see much difference.  But it’s good to finally have an answer on the issue.
