(S02E12) Beat Your Heart Out
Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy crossover event? When? Where? How, after sitting here watching ABC for two straights hours did I miss it? If this is there idea of gimmicky advertising, then they had me fooled.
In any case, with the suspense of this crossover hanging in the air, as well as Dreamy’s yet to be given engagement ring I was hooked on the potential that is Grey’s Anatomy tonight.
All is well again in the Cristina/ Meredith world. Of course the personal interest is a little one-sided with Cristina getting the short end of the stick, but what else is new? I hardly cared though with the energy filled sexual tension radiating from her and Dr. Hunt. Let’s just hope it can continue through whatever land mine is about to be dropped on their very fragile beginnings during next week’s show. As for who that mysterious knee-jerk reaction causing lady that is that set Dr. Hunt off, I’m betting an old war buddy. Weirder things have happened.
Bailey really stole the show tonight. After her drama-filled dying child saga that we just recovered from I was somewhat shocked to see a new similar story line begin. I was pleased to see that after an initial freak-out she was able to pull it together and really shine as yet another child’s life was saved. As a bonus, it looks like she’ll be up for a promotion in July. When Bailey’s in charge life is always fun (it’s how Grey’s began after all). As for her potential future in peds, I couldn’t agree more.
