Ah, now this is what I call good reality television.

Tonight’s Survivor definitely changed the game up a bit. Fang, a team which previously bit it hard, is now finally going into the challenges with both arms swinging. In tonight’s first challenge they used Olympian Crystal’s strength to their benefit and literally pulled their competition out of the game.

As a reward the group was sent home with some “comfort bedding” (if that’s what you want to call it) and a good night’s sleep. They were also responsible for sending one of their competitors in the Kota team out to exile island. Sugar was the unlucky/lucky girl chosen.

By leaving her team for such a long duration Sugar, of course, was in danger of missing out on too much. Besides Ace, she still doesn’t have much of an alliance to speak of, and she’s not exactly the strongest of the bunch. However, this girl’s smart! Making the lawyer who last faced the island look like a complete chump, Sugar shared a sad story about the recent death of her father then, with great inspiration, found the immunity idol in no time flat. Not bad, not bad at all.  Best of all, besides Ace, I don’t think any one else knows about it or even suspects. Sweet.

The second challenge for immunity that the teams faced actually looked like a lot of fun. Took me back to my younger days to see those crazy kids flying down a huge mountain slip’n'slide in the quest for numbers which then went to their teammates Ken the computer nerd and Bob the professor (I just love that guys bow tie). Unfortunately for Bob, Ken totally rocked and won his team a night away from the Probster.

As  tribal council neared alliances formed and strategies were laid. The top contenders for a sianora vote were seemingly Paloma, Ace and possibly Sugar. Ace must have luck on his side because tiny little Paloma was the one to go. I guess the Kota team has a thing for accents. Or maybe not. If I were a team member I’d definitely have my eye on getting rid of Ace sooner rather than later. And Sugar, you just keep that idol close… I don’t trust your partner as far as I can throw him.
