You have to assume that this was intentional. In Terminator canon, Judgement Day takes place on April 21, 2011. For the 3-year pre-anniversary of the end of the world as we know it (a.k.a. yesterday, April 21, 2008), FOX announced that Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles will receive a 13-episode order for the 2008-2009 season. It had been rumored for a while…and even the head of FOX Entertainment said that they were hiring staff.

Though I wasn’t crazy about it at first, T:SCC grew on me quickly, and actually became one of my heavily anticipated shows by the time it ended. Definitely looking forward to next season.
