First William Shatner, then Rene Auberjonois, then John Larroquette (you might not remember he played a Klingon at one point), and now Scott Bakula – the Boston Legal universe is just FILLED with Star Trek alumni.

Although, most fans are going to be more interested in the Scott Bakula/Candice Bergen connection. Even casual fans of Bergen’s previous hit series Murphy Brown will remember that Soctt Bakula played her one-time love interest on the former show.

…and that’s exactly the role he’ll be playing in Boston Legal as well.

There is no word on just how many episodes Captain Archer (once you’re in Star Trek – you’re ALWAYS in Star Trek) will be appearing in, but I think he’ll make a great addition to this already stellar cast.
