This parody video by Rick Kelvington that edits together the new “Star Trek” movie trailer into an opening credits sequence from “Smallville” pretty much sums up everything that’s wrong with the J.J. Abrams relaunch (from what we’ve seen so far, anyway).

The video is hilariously spot on, and I thought I’d share it here. It’s my way of laughing instead of crying.
