Hollywood Reporter has the scoop that “Very Funny” cable network TBS has scooped up the right for reruns of NBC’s ‘The Office’ and ‘My Name is Earl’.

TBS probably gets some of the most “background noise” play at our house, since there’s almost always a rerun of ‘Friends’ or ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ on there.  It’s great to see the funniest comedies on TV already becoming immortalized in syndication, just a couple of seasons into their runs.
