Nice to see Firefly make the list.

What a travesty it was cut short.

Can we draw a line between Sci-Fiction / WitchCraft and Horror, and exclude shows like Charmed, Buffy, Angel and their spin offs.
Sci-Fiction to most fans would I'm sure have a space theme.
#1 all time is now Battlestar Galactica. Have been a fan since episode 1 season 1, and got hooked instantly by great writing, cast, direction and camera work. I still love Sci-Fi in general, but this show has won me.
I need go no further as what ever I say is only my opinion anyway.

BTW, I like Buffy, but think it's catergoised incorrectly.

I the title is the top 10 modem SF rather than the top SF shows of all time. Where is Irvan's great TV shows like "Lost in Space", "Land of the Giants", "Time Tunnel" and "Voyage to the bottem of the Sea"? Also, Planet of the Apes TV servies was good. I am surprise that StarGate Atlanitis is not on there. I think "Lost" should not be in there. I do not look at that as SF show but more of a drama (with SF elements on the side).

Pretty tragic that Farscape doesn't even get an honorable mention. I love sci-fi and Farscape was more enthralling than anything I've seen on TV to this day.

I think SG1 should be bumped up, and it just seems way too early to be placing heroes so high up the list.

These lists are so personal, there's never, ever... a last word. I'm happy to see that the comments are mostly about sharing lists/favorites and not flaming about something as benign as a fav list.

Here are my personal favs:

1. Star Trek: TOS
2. Stargate SG-1
3. Sliders
4. The 4400
5. Heroes
6. The Twilight Zone
7. Smallville
8. Land of the Lost (Yup:-) The Saturday morning kid's show
9. X-Men - The Animated series (arguably the best overall job on an animated series)
10. Stargate Atlantis (though season 4 is dragging, getting very soft)

Notes:
Kyle XY - The first 1.5 seasons have been excellent (except for the activist encumbered gay episode). Hope they don't mess this series up.
The Pretender - probably not classic Sci-Fi. Deserves a mention every now and again.

I know there's alot of enthusiam on the internet for both Firefly and Battlestar Galactica - but I can't stand either of these two - no offense to anyone. Like I said... matter of personal preference. Quantum Leap is entertaining but would always end up somewhere in the middle of any large list I put together (not the greatest but not the worst). On a larger list, I'd place Star Trek: Voyager over TNG. TNG over Deep Space 9.

Cheers!

I'd put the CW's "Supernatural" way up on that list. Along with USA's "The 4400". I can't imagine how shows of this caliber manage to escape the undivided attention of the general public. 'Tis a shame.
