On Wednesday night more than 33.5 million viewers tuned in to see Senator Barack Obama’s informercial (it was a paid political advertisement) that aired on seven primetime networks…including NBC, Fox, CBS, MSNBC, BET, TVOne, and Univision.
Those numbers are slightly down from both his acceptance speech earlier this year (which saw 38.4 million viewers) and Senator John McCain’s acceptance speech which saw 38.9 million viewers tune in.
One thing is clear here – Americans are more interested in this election that just about any other in history.
Early voting in many states ends TODAY.
Chances are the polls on November 4th are going to be so jam packed you’ll have to wait for hours on end – so I highly recommend you head out today and cast your vote for the candidate of your choice.
Your vote counts – make sure your voice is heard. Go vote.

20 NO CommentsOn Saturday night Alaskan Governor and Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin appeared on Saturday Night Live – bringing in record numbers for the show. Both of the skits that she appeared in were moderately funny – but the “Cold Open” is far better than the “Palin Rap” from the “Weekend Update” segment.
Here you can see both segments in their entirety.

Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama has secured half an hour of TV time from 8:00 to 8:30 pm on October 29th, 2008 on both NBC and CBS.
This will mean that the Halloween themed “Knight Rider” episode that was supposed to air on NBC that week will be pushed to the following week. “The New Adventures of Old Christine” will be moved to 8:30 pm on CBS, and “Gary Unmarried” will be pre-empted that week as well.
Don’t forget that some of you still have time to register to vote if you haven’t done so already. Regardless of who you’re planning to vote for – you HAVE to registered to let your voice be heard! Click Here for more information.

Everyday the Presidential race seems to take a new turn, and tonight could be a game changer yet again. All the major networks will be covering the event, and you can see it – of course- on the 24 news networks as well.
The debate starts at 9:00 p.m. EST – so set your DVRs or plop down in front of the television with a bag of popcorn and see what’s going to happen.
I’m not going to offer an opinion on who to vote for, or why to vote a certain way – other than to say that you have to be informed about who you’re voting for before you can make an informed choice.
Tonight you have an opportunity to see the future leader of the United States in action. If you’re a U.S. citizen – you get to help make that decision. It’s an incredible thing – and an amazing right that we have.
Don’t waste it. Watch the debates, research the candidates – and get beyond the spin of the news networks. Check the facts. Make a decision based on what you believe – not what you’re family, parents, or friends believe. This is an incredibly important election, and you need to be a part of it.
If you haven’t registered to vote yet – you might still have time. Click here for a non-partisan voter registration site – and see if you still have time.
Register.
Vote.
Change the World.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is coming to Fox News Channel this week. Obama refused to appear on the network during the primary season, but now that he has been officially declared the Democratic nominee he has agreed to appear on the conservative talk show.
Obama apparently met with Fox News Channel Chairman Roger Ailes and News Corp. boss Rupert Murdoch recently, which may have paved the way for Obama’s appearance on the channel.
