We’re still 9 days away from NBC’s revamped “Knight Rider” appearing on the peacock network, but iTunes and Hulu will have the show on Wednesday the 17th.

The first episode will be a free download in iTunes and will also be free to watch on Hulu.com. KR is one of several shows that NBC is releasing earlier to help build buzz.

NBC has decided to release five episodes of its shows online a week before they air on television in an attempt to build buzz for the shows.

Hulu will showcase the first episode of Knight Rider as well as returning shows 30 Rock, Lipstick Jungle, Life, and Chuck.

This is a bold move on the part of NBC, and seriously shows that they have confidence in these 5 shows. If they didn’t, they certainly wouldn’t be putting them online before they air.
