I love the IT Crowd. I first saw the show online a few years ago, and I have really enjoyed what I’ve been able to watch of it over the years. Now – FINALLY – the original series is coming to the US thanks to IFC.

On September 29th, 2008 you’ll be able to tune into this amazingly geeky world for the first time on US Television. NBC shot a pilot for a US version of the show (and it even featured original cast member Richard Ayoade) but the series was, unfortunately, not picked up.

I would have loved to have seen a US version of the IT Crowd as a companion piece to the US version of The Office. Still, it’s much better to have the original anyway, and I can’t wait to DVR it.
