I’m getting really tired of feeling old these days. First it was seeing “old man” Jones in the theater, but last night it was taken a step further when Mike Myers and Dana Carvey returned to their classic characters Wayne and Garth of “Wayne’s World” fame to an audience of completely confused teen celebrities on the the MTV Movie Awards. From the constantly confused Paris Hilton, to a surprisingly sober looking Linsday Lohan, and even a few of the stars of High School Musical – none of them seemed to have a clue what was going on on the stage in front of them.

You can see a terrible YouTube video of most of the segment above. It really, really, felt out of place at the 2008 MTV movie awards, and that makes me sad. I know we’ll never see a “Wayne’s World 3″ – and after seeing this, that’s probably a good idea.
