Even though I watch more on Thursday nights than anything else, none of the programs really lend themselves to discussion or spoilers.  So here’s a synopsis of what’s on tonight, with a bit of commentary thrown in here and there.

My Name Is EarlTwo Balls, Two Strikes – NBC 8/7c

NBC says:

Little Chubby (Norm MacDonald) comes to town to take over the family business after the death of his father.

Chubby’s dead? No more Burt Reynolds? That’s unfortunate. But I can imagine that Norm MacDonald will fit in perfectly to the Earl-verse.

30 RockCleveland - NBC – 9/8c

NBC says:

Floyd (Jason Sudeikis) asks Liz if she would consider a move to the Midwest; Jack rushes to Paris and then the altar with Phoebe (Emily Mortimer).

ScrubsTheir Story – NBC – 9:30/8:30c

Ted juggles fantasies in which he has a full head of hair and a reality where he is helping the nursing staff fight for a raise. While Todd meets his future son and helps Turk preserve his reputation and Jordan puts aside her knack for causing misery to help Elliot and Keith’s relationship.

ER - Family Business – NBC – 10/9c

When a young man comes into the ER with heart failure, Kovac and Gates must deal with the helpless father left behind. An Armenian man takes the time out of his schedule and risks his own life to be a Good Samaritan. Pratt takes the high road and attempts to make amends with his brother. Meanwhile, Abby and Gates deal with the constant challenges of parenthood.

Grey’s AnatomyTime After Time – ABC – 9/8c

Izzie faces her past and finds comfort in George, while Alex becomes more attached to Jane Doe, Meredith and Derek question their own status and Cristina resolves to fight for her relationship with Burke despite her past with Colin Marlow.
