Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy are both in repeats, and ER’s still a few weeks out from returning.  So here’s a peek at what’s on tonight:

The OfficeThe Negotiation – NBC - 8/7c

NBC says:

Darryl meets with Michael to negotiate a pay increase; Jim deals with the consequences of Pam’s confession to Roy.

There will be a showdown within the first few minutes of the show, and the promos make it look like Roy is pretty seriously pissed.  I can’t tell if they are trying to create some genuine drama or if it will be somehow played for laughs.  But it’s been way too long since we had a new visit to Scranton.  I’m so pumped.  Oh, and we get an extra 15 minutes, so make sure your DVR knows that.

30 RockFireworks – NBC – 8:45/7:45c

The faux behind-the-scenes of SNL comedy is new again tonight, with 15 extra minutes of fun, and coming off of the great news of a second season pick up.  Tonight, Will Arnett (Arrested Development) guest stars as an NBC executive out for Jack’s job.  Apparently there’s some comedy gold between Arnett and Kenneth tonight…something about a too-short bathrobe.

Scrubs - My Long Goodbye – NBC - 9:23/8:23c

Scrubs is in an interesting situation.  NBC doesn’t care much for the show, and does nothing to really promote it.  But ABC has stated that if it’s dropped by the Peacock, then they will pick it up.  I’d be interested to see what it could do with a different network that really believed in it.

October RoadSecrets and Guys – ABC – 10/9c

I’ll admit, I haven’t been watching this one, but several people I know have.  It was pretty much trashed by critics before it premiered, but its post-Grey’s Anatomy timeslot really seemed to boost it to a success.  But now it has to stand without Grey’s to support it.  The true test will come tonight.
