I should go on the record as saying that I don’t think much of “Second Life”. I have tried to venture into that “virtual world” and see just what the heck was going on, but was so immediately bored with it that I decided it would be more entertaining to stare at my wall – or just sleep.
These WGA supporters have decided to picket within Second Life, since they can’t picket in the real world…I have no idea why. I seriously doubt that the studio execs are in Second Life – and if they are, I don’t really see how walking around a building that has no interior is going to hurt them.
Regardless, some folks have a lot of free time, and this is how they have chosen to spend. If they’re having fun and feeling supportive, I guess that’s great for them – but GEEZ – I just…bah…I give up.

I feel exactly the same way… about television. I gave my teevee away in August and couldn’t be happier to have recovered some free time I was wasting.
btw, I think those Second Life picketers were successful. They got someone like you to talk about them. Attention is everything
